Britney Spears another week on top of the world - Circus is ‘Global Album of the Week’

Britney Spears has continued her form from last week, having the best selling album in the world for he second consecutive week with “Circus”.
In second place was Beyonce with her double-disc “I Am.. Sasha Fierce” followed by AC/DC’s “Black Ice”, Take That’s “The Circus” and P!nk’s “Funhouse” respectively.

As I expected, AC/DC sold more albums in the United States of America during the course of 2008. Their new album “Black Ice” has gone ballistic sales-wise, while their back catalogue has also performed amazingly on the Catalogue charts.

Tickets for a concert Vienna concert by Aussie rockers AC/DC have sold out within minutes.
The concert is set for May 24 at the Ernst Happel Stadium which seats 50,000 spectators! Further to the reaction to ticket sales promoters are said to be considering a second concert for Vienna.
