On this day, April 13th, 24 years ago to the day, in 1985, Michael Jackson and Lionel Ritchie’s group anthem “We Are The World” hit the No. 1 spot on the USA Singles charts.
The song was part of the USA for Africa campaign. “We Are The World” went to No.1 in 17 countries around the world.
